Crvenka footballers beat Iskra in a friendly match in Kucura

As part of their preparations for the spring half of the Vojvodina League championship, Crvenka’s footballers visited Kucura yesterday, where they beat the home side, Iskra, 1:0 in a friendly match. Nemanja Todorović scored Crvenka’s winning goal. Yesterday’s match in Kucura gave Crvenka coach Milan Vujaković a good opportunity to assess the work done so far in training and identify mistakes to correct going forward. This is essential, as Crvenka faces a tough battle to remain in the Vojvodina League in the spring half of the championship. Crvenka will have another fitness test next weekend, when they take on Fruškogorac from Sremska Kamenica, a member of the Novi Sad League, in Crvenka.

Serbian League side Hajduk are also working hard in preparation for the spring half of the season. Today’s friendly against Mladost in Turija will serve as a good test of the team’s progress so far in training. Before the spring season begins, Hajduk will play two more matches: on Saturday against Mladost from Bački Petrovac, followed by their final test against Bečej. The spring season in the Serbian and Vojvodina leagues begins on 6 March.
