Second mosquito control treatment

Weather permitting, adult mosquito control will be carried out in the Municipality of Kula in the coming period, starting tomorrow, 31 August. Treatment will be carried out from the ground in the evening (around 20:30), using a lambda-cyhalothrin- and deltamethrin-based product.

Following the first mosquito spraying treatment and the monitoring conducted, locations with increased mosquito concentrations were identified, so the next treatment will be carried out precisely at those sites.

We urge beekeepers to protect or relocate their hives, as the product is toxic to bees.
