A decision on what the handball leagues will look like in the coming season is finally expected to be made today. The Assembly of the Association of Super League Handball Clubs will meet today, where information from the meeting of the Handball Federation of Serbia’s Board of Directors will be presented. At that Board meeting, an unequivocal position was taken in favor of expanding the Super A League by two new clubs, to be determined through playoff matches.
The Board of the Handball Federation of Serbia has decided that the promotion playoff for a place in the Super League will be played by 15 August, and playoffs for the other leagues by 22 August. The decision is expected to be confirmed at today’s meeting of the Assembly of the Handball Clubs Association, which begins at 16, a development that will certainly delight handball fans in Crvenka. As a reminder, Crvenka’s handball players have entered the playoff and are seeking promotion to the Super A League, while Handball Club Laki is seeking promotion to the Serbian Women’s First League.
