April 1 is the date when April Fools’ Day is celebrated around the world. It is celebrated in many countries in different ways.
According to an old custom, people play pranks on one another every year on April 1 and make things up to fool each other and have a good laugh. Although April Fools' Day is not celebrated as a holiday in any country, it is observed in most European cultures, the United States and India. The most common phrase people say to each other after a prank is “April fools!”
Many psychologists take a positive view and believe that joking can be good for your health, because laughter is recognized as one of the healthiest ways to combat stress and depression, high blood pressure, and even heart problems.
