Hajduk’s footballers recorded their second league victory in the Serbian League, Vojvodina Group. In front of their home fans, the Kula team defeated Bačka from Subotica 3:2, in a match that could satisfy even the most discerning spectators. Hajduk’s footballers were already two goals ahead after twenty minutes, as young Ilija Jovanović and experienced Slobodan Vuković managed to beat the opposing goalkeeper. However, Bačka’s players did not give up and drew level early in the second half. Despite this, Hajduk’s players did not lose heart, and after a justifiably awarded penalty, Ilija Tutnjević scored from the spot to give his team its second win.
Hajduk’s coach is extremely pleased with two wins in two derbies and the six points earned. He congratulated everyone at the club who helped “Hajduk” shine, noting that he had nothing to reproach the players for and adding that he was proud of his lads, who leave their heart and soul on the pitch every round.
