Crvenka - Lipar 6:2

The seventh round of the Sombor District League was played yesterday, and it was marked by the municipal derby in Crvenka, where Crvenka’s footballers defeated Lipar 6:2, with the score at halftime 3:1. Crvenka was significantly better, and it should also be noted that Lipar fielded a weakened side without Šegan, Karin and Kovač, three regular starters. Crvenka’s scorers were captain Subotić, who scored twice, as well as Jovan Radmanović, Ilić, Faćol and Kerekeš, while Banović and Mijić scored for Lipar. Hajduk Junior’s footballers drew 1:1 away against Krila Krajine in Bačka Palanka. The hosts were in the lead, but late in the match the Kula side earned a point with a goal by captain Danojević from a justifiably awarded penalty. The biggest surprise of the seventh round was produced by Kula’s footballers, who recorded their first win away in Tovariševo, beating Vojvodina 1:0. Bukelović scored the goal that gave Kula its first victory and three points. Rusin’s footballers from Ruski Krstur also brought joy, defeating ŽAK in Sombor 3:0. Rusin’s scorers were Čizmar, Đukanović and Oros. Our sixth representative in the Sombor District League, Mladost from Kruščić, lost to Budućnost 2:0 in Parage yesterday. After seven rounds, Crvenka is second in the table with 18, and Hajduk Junior is third with 14 points. Lipar is sixth with 11, Rusin ninth with 10, Mladost twelfth with 7, and Kula thirteenth with 4 points. In the next round, the municipal derby will be played in Kula, where Kula and Mladost from Kruščić will meet at the Geder on Sunday. Hajduk Junior will host ŽAK from Sombor at the Milan Sredanović Stadium on Saturday, while second-placed Crvenka will also play away on Saturday in Tovariševo, where it faces Vojvodina. Lipar will host Budućnost from Mladenovo in front of its home fans on Sunday, while Rusin will also host Budućnost from Parage in Ruski Krstur on Sunday.
