The Municipality of Kula has begun implementing a public-private partnership with a private partner, led by Petrol d.o.o. The project involves replacing existing fuel-oil boiler rooms with environmentally friendly and more energy-efficient gas boilers in 10 buildings throughout our municipality.
The first of these is the “Dom Pionira” in Kula, which houses the “Bambi” Preschool, the Music School, and the “Plava Ptica” association for people with intellectual disabilities. Gas connections are also expected soon for the following buildings: “Isa Bajić” Elementary School in Kula, the School of Economics and Trade, the Municipal Administration and police building, “Vuk Karadžić” Elementary School in Crvenka, “Petro Kuzmjak” Elementary and Secondary School with its student residence in Ruski Krstur, both schools in Sivac, the “Čuvari osmeha” kindergarten, and the Local Community and Cultural Center building.
The total value of the investments exceeds 100 million dinars.
It is also worth mentioning that, over the past year, Petefi Brigade Elementary School, together with its sports hall in Kula, switched from fuel oil to gas, and that procurement is under way for a gas boiler room at the Cultural Center in Ruski Krstur. Significant funding for both projects was secured through calls for proposals issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
